Mixpanel

Connectors / Mixpanel

Product signals linked to the features behind them.

Bring your Mixpanel event catalog into the graph and link tracked events to the code that fires them.

A token you paste

Before you start

Install Oynix and open the connectors page. You do this once. Everything below then happens right in the page, with no commands to run.

This source connects one way.

A token you paste

Paste a credential.

  1. 1Create the credential: Mixpanel → Organization Settings → Service Accounts → add one (the Consumer role is enough); copy the username and secret (shown once).
  2. 2Open Mixpanel in the connectors page and choose the token path.
  3. 3Enter the service-account username and secret, and your region (us, eu or in), then click Connect. Oynix checks it right then and saves nothing if it fails.

After login

Once connected, this all happens in the page. No commands.

  1. 1The picker opens. Choose which projects to sync to sync (it lists only the ones your credential can read).
  2. 2Hit Sync to pull just those into the graph.
  3. 3Deselect one later and Oynix purges only that project's data.

The service account must be in the same Mixpanel org as the project. The picker only offers projects it can read.

What it syncs

Events

One document per tracked event: name, the Lexicon why, and property names.

Cohorts and funnels

Cohorts and funnels, brought in as documents.

Volume

A banded 30-day volume signal per event.

The Mixpanel free plan has no data API, so events cannot sync until the project is on a plan that exposes it. Connecting still succeeds.
